Eros beach is located on the south coast of
Santorini between
Vlychada beach and
Akrotiri beach. It’s around a 20 minute drive from both the airport and the capital
Fira.
Eros has black sand and pebbles as you’d expect from Santorini, there are nice wooden sun loungers with straw umbrellas available to rent in front of the taverna. The beach bar is good quality and offers great cocktails, music, free wifi and will even deliver snacks and drinks to you as you relax by the sea.
Canoes are available to rent but there’s no major water sports like jet skis or banana boats. There is a volleyball court set back from the sea. Parking is plentiful around the bar with steps down to the beach.
If you walk along from the main section of the beach you will find a bit of space without sun loungers that you can claim for yourself, on a quiet day you can often feel as if you are the only people there, this is probably why it is considered the most romantic beach on the island.
