Lalaria is a shingle and pebble beach on the north of
Skiathos island, it’s around 6km from
Skiathos Town but is only accessible by boat so to get there you’ll have to either hire a boat and make your own way or get on one of the many tourist boat trips that stop here.
The boat trips travel the island and stop at Lalaria beach for a swim and to spend some time relaxing on the beach before moving on to some of the other less visited beaches, they’re generally great fun with a good atmosphere on board, you get to see some of the beautiful coast line and visit some great secluded beaches, the trips often include lunch and serve drinks on board too.
Lalaria beach has amazing rock formations and scenery but absolutely no facilities so if you plan on hiring a boat and visiting for the day you’ll need to bring your own food, drink and anything else you may need with you.
If you visit on your own and catch the beach when there’s not a boat trip there you’ll find Lalaria to be a very quiet beach, however as it’s a frequent stop for the boat trips there’s often more than one there at a time making it feel quite busy.
