Agios Spyridon is a lovely sandy beach on the eastern side of the north coast of
Corfu. It’s just over 40km from the capital
Kerkyra which will take you over an hour by car.
Agios Spyridon has a good array of facilities including some sun loungers with umbrellas to hire, a taverna to help keep you fully fed and refreshed with nice cold drinks. There are pedalos available as well as showers, toilets and changing facilities.
Despite all these useful amenities and the natural beauty of the area the beach remains pretty quiet, you may even find you have the place to yourself at certain times.
Agios Spyridon is a great place for families as youngsters can safely play in the sea which slopes gently meaning they can get a good distance out without getting into trouble with the depth. There are some rocks around at the end of the beach so just stay away from these if you have little ones.
Agios Spyridon is easy to get to and there is plenty of space to park just behind the beach It’s also not far from
Nisos forest so if you fancy a quiet walk away from the crowds then this is a great option.
