Agni Bay is an unspoiled shingle and sand beach on the north east of Corfu
. It’s just under 30km from Kerkyra which will take you around 50 minutes in the car.
Getting to Agni bay isn’t the easiest as it has a steep, winding road heading down to the bay which can be narrow in places but it is accessible by car and has a car park at the bottom of the road. An alternative option that many people like is to arrive by boat from either Kalami
There are three tavernas on Agni Bay, each served by it’s own jetty and each one offering free sunbeds to customers and serving food and drink throughout the day. There’s no water sports to ruin the tranquil atmosphere but there are showers and toilets.
It’s probably easiest to swim at the northern end of the beach away from the Jetties as a lot of boats come and go throughout the day making it somewhat treacherous.
Also close to Agni Bay Beach is the Durrells family White House in Kalami bay which is just a couple of kilometres north.
