Dassia is a long but narrow shingle and pebble beach on the edge of the village of
Dassia, it’s around 14km from the capital which is just under half an hours drive away.
Dassia beach has several bars and is lined with trees offering some shade in places if required. It offers fabulous views of the
Corfu coast and out to Albania too.
Dassia is organised with a couple of rows of sunbeds around the tavernas and hotels. These are often free when purchasing food and drink from the associated establishments.
There is a wealth of water sports available on Dassia beach from high speed inflatables to parasailing and Water Skiing. There is also a platform in the middle of the beach where you can dive into the crystal clear water.
Dassia is good for youngsters as the water is shallow at the edge so they can safely paddle and play. Parking is available on the road leading up to the beach but arrive early to get the best spots or you may have a bit of a walk to and from the beach.
