Kavos is located right at the bottom of
Corfu island and would take over an hour to make the trip to the airport or the capital
Kerkyra.
There’s no shortage of accommodation in Kavos with most of it being cheap and cheerful. There’s places with swimming pools and some right on the beach too so plenty of options.
Car hire outlets, cash machines, beach parties, quad bikes and scooters are all available in Kavos. You’ll also find a lot of boat trips based out of Kavos, mainly booze cruise type trips that take you round the island whilst plying you with alcohol. These are a great way to see a lot of the island and meet like minded people too.
If you’re young and looking for a crazy week, hooking up with random people and nursing hangovers then Kavos is for you. If not then perhaps pick somewhere else.
If you'd like to stay in the area then have a look at the Kavos page of booking.com
here. Alternatively find a great package holiday through Tui
here.
Kavos is the main 18-30 resort on the island so it’s full of young revellers sleeping in the day and partying all night, the bars offer cheap shots, drinking games and various cocktails to get you drunk.
A large proportion of the bars are “English” style bars where the theme is drinking as much as possible. There are obviously calmer bars and restaurants but this is the general theme of the region.
Not only does Kavos have the wildest party nights on the island it's also home to a cracking beach, this is where most people recover from their hangovers before the next night out.
It’s a large sandy beach with all sorts of entertainment and water sports. Click here to find out more about
Kavos beach.
Unfortunately, due to it's location at the extreme south of the island, there's not a lot else in the area but if you're choosing Kavos then that's probably not something you'd be too bothered about.
