A bit about Halki
Halki is a small island in the south Dodecanese just west of Rhodes, it’s 10 km east to west and just 3 km north to south with approximately 300 inhabitants.
This is a very traditional Greek island, a massive change from the touristy island of Rhodes that you arrive from and well worth a day trip or overnight stay if you’re planning on going to Rhodes.
Getting to Halki
As Halki is such a small and remote island there is no airport on the island so to get there you’ll need to get a flight to Rhodes, then from Rhodes catch a ferry to Halki. The ferry journey is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
