The main beach of Kos town is actually a continuation of
Lambi beach as it heads south into the capital and approaches the harbour.
There are tons of sunbeds available to hire and multiple tavernas that line the rear of the beach. It has water sports vendors to keep the adrenaline junkies amongst you happy and some of the beach side bars even offer late night beach parties with DJs and fireworks to keep you entertained into the small hours.
Kos town beach gets very busy at times, particularly in the height of the tourist season with sun beds packed closely together and very little space for relaxing, this will be perfect for some peoples needs but awful to others. If you’re the later then head north to
Lambi which is a bit quieter.
There is another beach in Kos town, it’s just south of the harbour and is also a narrow beach, again there are sunbeds available to hire and plenty of facilities near by to get refreshments.
Parking is generally available on the roads behind the beaches but the roads are often quite narrow so it can sometimes be tricky to find a spot. If you struggle then there's plenty of other spaces around
Kos town where you can park the car and walk to the beaches.
