Psalidi beach is found just east of
Kos town on the main coastal road that leads to the hot springs at
Thermes beach. It’s a long but fairly narrow shingle and pebble beach that fades to grass with some palm trees running along by the road.
The beach is mainly used by those staying in the village of
Psalidi and Kos town. Along the length of the beach you’ll find a number of tavernas offering local cuisine as well as snacks and drinks, there are sun beds available to hire as well as water sports vendors.
At the eastern tip of Psalidi beach you’ll find a wind surfing and kite surfing school and rental business called
WindZone which should keep the more active in your group happy, at least for a couple of hours.
Parking is available at the rear of the beach along the main road as well as at a large car park at the eastern end of the beach. You can also get to Psalidi beach by walking from Kos town or there’s a regular bus service from the capital too.
