Achladies beach is nearly 500m long with gorgeous golden sand and several tavernas, it’s narrow so only 1 row of sunbeds in places, 2-3 rows in other places.
Achladies is close to a number of large hotels making this the perfect place for sun worshipping package holiday makers. There isn’t much else in the area though so if you decide to stay close to Achladies beach then keep that in mind. Luckily,
Skiathos is a small island so it’s easy to get to other areas if you want a bit more variety or just a change of scenery.
There are sun loungers available, some with umbrellas and some without, there are also plenty of water sports to keep you and any teenagers in your group entertained. There’s also boat hire and pedalo hire available at Achladies beach so if you want to explore the gorgeous Skiathos coast line then this is the perfect option for you.
To get to Achladies beach use the bus and get off at stop 10, you can then walk from there. You can also get the water taxi to and from
Skiathos Town or if you have a car you can drive down the main coastal road and look out for the signs pointing to Achladies beach.
