Mandraki Elias Beach is a decent sized sandy beach just past
Mandraki Xerxes beach on the south west of
Skiathos island but on the northern coast, as with most of the beaches on the north coast it sometimes suffers with wind and choppy seas but that just means you can have some fun jumping the waves. Mandraki Elias beach is also referred to as Elias bay or just Elias beach.
Mandraki Elias beach has soft sand and is surrounded by pine forests, it sometimes has some seaweed on the beach if the seas been rough the night before but that definitely shouldn’t put you off visiting this wonderful slice of heaven. There’s a great little taverna on the beach serving delicious food and drinks.
With Elias Bay not being one of the most popular beaches and being so large you will often find it used by nudists at the extreme ends, so if that’s your thing head to the end of the beach and top up that all over tan, if not then stick to the middle of the beach.
Mandraki Elias beach gets it’s name due to it’s location on the Mandraki peninsular. Just across the headland next to Elias beach you’ll find Agistros beach so it’s easy to visit both in the same day.
