Nisteri is a narrow, tree lined, sandy beach on the north coast of
Thassos just 1km from the islands capital
Limenas and is easily walkable, it would take around 30 minutes from the main port.
It’s a shallow beach with soft sand that’s great for youngsters and the trees that line the beach offer some welcome shade. The beach is just over 250m long with a wider section close to the hotel, this is usually where you’ll find the sun loungers with the remainder of the sand left clear so that you can lay out your own towel.
Nisteri isn’t a private beach but is pretty much only used by those staying in the hotel so never gets too busy. The hotel has a taverna area with some nice seating which is perfect for your lunch whilst enjoying the views and listening to the sound of the sea.
There’s parking available in amongst the trees behind the beach so if you’re driving you should be able to find somewhere to leave the car.
