Rosogremos beach is a 200m long sand beach on the south coast of
Thassos. It’s just 15 minutes south east of
Limenaria, close to
Potos and about an hours drive from the islands capital
Limenas.
The beach is home to the Royal Paradise resort and spa hotel, many of the sun loungers are provided by the hotel for the residents but there are some available for those not staying at the hotel. The hotel has showers and toilets which are usually available to everyone.
Rosogremos beach is lined with trees and is mainly sand with a rocky section towards the south east end of the beach. This is slightly separate but usually still has sun loungers available. There’s also a row of stones around the entrance to the sea.
Rosogremos is relatively safe for kids as they can play on the sand but it’s probably best to stay away from the rocky end. There’s also a fairly steep drop in sea depth in places so keep an eye on any little ones playing in the water.
Getting to the beach is relatively easy as it’s just off the main coastal road that leads south from Potos. There’s a small sign for Sun Beach but it’s easily missed so make sure to keep a look out for it. There’s a small amount of parking available at the rear of the beach or you can park at the roadside and walk which is just a couple of minutes.
Rosogremos beach is also known as Roso Gremos, Rosonkremos and Sun beach too.
