Skala Prinos is a coarse sand beach with shingle in paces. It’s located on the west coast of
Thassos some 17km from the capital
Limenas. It’s west of Prinos harbour just past the campsite.
It's a relatively small beach at just over 100m long but it continues into Aphrodite beach to the east and Etsies beach to the south west so if you're someone who likes a stroll along the sand then you can walk for around 2 miles uninterrupted.
There’s no taverna directly on the beach but there are a couple on the road behind the beach so you can easily get snacks and drinks if required. There's a number of sunbeds available to hire, toilets, showers and even a few hammocks and a volleyball net too if you want to keep busy but it's too quiet for water sports.
Getting to the beach is fairly straight forward, head to Prinos harbour and then follow the road round the coast and you should get there. When you arrive you'll find plenty of parking at the rear of the beach that's big enough for the amount of people that usually visit.
