Firostefani

Firostefani is located just north of the capital Fira and offers similar spectacular views out over the Caldera. Nightlife in Firostefani is good, there's a load of restaurants with several types of food available from traditional Greek to barbecue, Italian and even Sushi.

Fira

Fira is the capital of Santorini, it's a beautiful town that looks like it’s grown out of the hillside with whitewashed and pastel coloured houses, upmarket hotels and restaurants offering stunning views out across the caldera and loads of nightlife options.

Emporio

Emporio which is also known as Nimborios is a traditional Cycladic village that's inland towards the south of Thira island just west of Perissa. It lies at the base of Mount Prophet Elias and is the largest settlement in Santorini with close to 2000 permanent residents.

Athinios

Athinios is actually the main port of Santorini, this is where the cruise ships land and the ferries for the other Greek islands are based as well. Around the harbour you’ll find a ton of car rental shops and tourist information desks to book excursions or other activities.

Akrotiri

Akrotiri is a small village located at the southwestern end of Thira in Santorini. Akrotiri is not a developed tourist destination so don’t expect the sort of facilities you’d have in Fira or Oia. What it does have is a Cycladic charm about it, with the usual narrow streets.

Skala Potamia

Skala Potamia, sometimes also known as Chrisi Akti is based at the southern end of Golden beach on the east coast of Thassos, it's ideal for a family beach holiday and there’s no shortage of hotels and a wealth of tavernas and restaurants to choose from too.

Skala Prinos

Skala Prinos is small with just a handful of restaurants around the waters edge and a selection of hotels, guest houses and villas in the surrounding area. It's based around the islands second major port with regular ferries from Kavala on the mainland.

Skala Panagia

Skala Panagia, also known as Chrysi Ammoudia is a gorgeous beach resort on the east coast and surrounds the northern end of Golden beach. As you head south it blends into Skala Potamia so visiting both at the same time is definitely possible.

Limenaria

Limenaria is the second largest town in Thassos and a popular spot for holiday makers along with neighbouring village Kalivia. As it’s one of the more popular resorts you’ll find a good selection of hotels and a good range of shops, tavernas and restaurants too.

Limenas

Limenas is the capital and largest town on Thassos and is often referred to as Thassos Town. It's home to the main port on the island and links to Keramoti port on the mainland. It has everything you need including plenty of hotels, a wealth of restaurants.
