Skala Panagia

Skala Panagia, also known as Chrysi Ammoudia is a gorgeous beach resort on the east coast and surrounds the northern end of Golden beach. As you head south it blends into Skala Potamia so visiting both at the same time is definitely possible.

Skala Potamia

Skala Potamia, sometimes known as Chrisi Akti is based at the southern end of Golden beach on the east coast of Thassos. It's ideal for a family beach holiday and there’s no shortage of hotels and a wealth of tavernas and restaurants to choose from.

Skala Prinos

Skala Prinos is small with just a handful of restaurants around the waters edge and a selection of hotels, guest houses and villas in the surrounding area. It's based around the islands second major port with regular ferries from Kavala on the mainland.

Limenaria

Limenaria is the second largest town in Thassos and a popular spot for holiday makers along with neighbouring village Kalivia. As it’s one of the more popular resorts you’ll find a good selection of hotels and a good range of shops, tavernas and restaurants too.

Limenas

Limenas is the capital and largest town on Thassos and is often referred to as Thassos Town. It's home to the main port on the island and links to Keramoti port on the mainland. It has everything you need including plenty of hotels and restaurants.

Potos

Potos is a popular tourist destination on the south coast with narrow streets that are lined with bars, restaurants and shops. It has a lovely long sand beach with all the facilities you need for a day out in the sun including watersports and loungers.

Lixouri

Lixouri is the second largest town on Kefalonia and the central town of the Palliki peninsula. Life in Lixouri revolves around the main square that’s surrounded by tavernas and restaurants serving up delicious freshly caught sea food and local delicacies.

Lourdas

Lourdas, sometimes also known as Lourdata is set against a steep hillside and in one of the largest bays on Kefalonia. There’s no real village centre, just a collection of hotels, restaurants and shops dotted about around the road side and down by the beach.

Poros

The port-town of Poros is on the east coast of Kefalonia and is the primary link from Kefalonia to mainland Greece with a daily service to Kilini. Poros is not one of the more popular tourist resorts but as it's a working town it has a more authentic feel.

Sami

Sami is a relatively quiet port town set at the foot of the hills on the north east coast of Kefalonia and because of this it offers a wealth of boat trips including day trips to Aetos on the neighbouring island of Ithaka as well as ferrys to Patra on the mainland.
