Anthony Quinn Bay is a small rocky beach on the east coast of
Rhodes just south of
Faliraki and 15km from the capital
Rhodes Town which is about a 20 minute drive.
The beach at Anthony Quinn bay is small with large rocks dotted about, it's covered in stones rather than sand so it's not ideal for youngsters, particularly as it gets deep fairly quickly and it's pretty much always busy meaning there's not much space for them to play.
There are sun loungers available to hire but as it's a small beach their numbers are limited. You'll have to arrive before 10am to secure a good spot. There's no water sports at Anthony Quinn bay but there are pedalos so if you want to explore the beautiful scenery then you can do.
There's no taverna directly on the beach itself but there is one just above, between the car park and the steps down to the beach which is great for refreshments or a nice lunch.
If you're planning to visit Anthony Quinn Bay then there's a number of options, if you have a hire car then there's a small, free car park with room for about a hundred cars. Alternatively the area is a frequent stop off for some of the boat day trips so that's a good option. There's also a bus stop that services the area.
A visit to Anthony Quinn bay can be combined with a visit to
Ladiko Beach as they sit back to back.
