Zephyros is a small beach about 1.5km south of
Rhodes old town which is up in the north east of
Rhodes island.
The beach is a triangular shape so it's a lot wider in the centre and tapers off at the edges. It's a little over 300m long and has slightly coarse, grey sand and clean, shallow water.
As Zephyros beach is just outside of town it doesn't get as busy as the likes of
Elli beach and there's plenty of space left clear for beach games with just 3 rows of sun loungers in the middle of the beach.
There's a small snack van on the beach and several restaurants across the main coastal road that runs behind the beach so plenty of options for food and drink throughout the day.
As for entertainment there's some weight lifting equipment at the back of the beach but no water sports or pedalo hire. Zephyros beach does have showers and changing cubicles but no toilets.
There's a car park for about 30 to 40 cars at the rear of the beach and more spaces on the roadside too so if you're visiting by car that shouldn't be an issue.
