Eleftherias square is one of the busiest meeting places in Kos town
and sits just off the main road that runs along the side of the harbour.
Eleftherias square is a nice area to sit and have a drink or a meal, the square is surrounded by restaurants so if that’s what you want to do there’s no shortage of options, there’s also a tree lined street that runs down by the Ancient Agora
with more dining options. Just remember that with it being a popular area it’s one of the more expensive places to eat in Kos town.
Also in Eleftherias square is the market hall where you can get fresh fruits and vegetables, herbs and spices as well as locally produced oils and honeys. In the market you’ll also find souvenirs and alcoholic drinks too. As well as the market there is also a large mosque and the Archaeological Museum of Kos
