Bouka beach is found on the north east coast of
Zakynthos (Zante) island and a mere eight kilometres from the islands capital
Zakynthos Town.
Fishermen looking for a little early morning peace and quiet need search no further than the small harbour of Bouka Beach and sitting at the shore watching them come and go is a great relaxing activity for everyone else.
With plenty of sand, shallow waters, and no organised water sports to interrupt your sunbathing, this tranquil, unspoiled cove is perfect for swimmers, families with children, and anybody else after a purely restful holiday. Just watch out for the rocks around the waters edge.
Traditional tavernas and beach bars are sprinkled nearby, so you don’t have to go far for a snack break. Bouka is an ideal place to unwind, take a quick dip in the sea, and work on your tan.
There are sun loungers available to hire but they are not too packed in like you’d find on the islands most popular beaches, there’s also plenty of room to lay out a towel if you prefer. Bouka is a great place to try a bit of snorkelling as the water is beautifully clear.
