Exotic beach, sometimes known as Polemi Beach is a nudist or textile optional beach on the south coast of
Kos, it’s mainly sand but with a few stones dotted about, the further north east you go the more rocky it gets. The sea shelves gently so you can get a fair way out before it gets too deep.
Getting there is easy as it’s signposted off the main road that runs down the centre of the island making it very easy to find, once you’ve followed the road down keep left and you’ll see the sign for Exotic beach. There’s parking right on the beach with plenty of space available. You can also get to Exotic beach by walking along from neighbouring
Magic beach,
Sunny beach or any of the other south coast beaches along this stretch.
There’s no taverna on the beach but there is usually a hut that the sun loungers are rented from and the attendant also sells cold drinks including beers. If you want something a bit more substantial to eat then you can walk up to the taverna above Magic beach or further on to the one at Sunny beach too, just remember to put your swimsuit back on before hand.
Exotic beach has two rows of sun loungers with netted wind breaks around them to keep prying eyes away and also protect from the winds, after the loungers the beach stretches out another mile to the north east where it’s much more quiet and secluded, you’ll find naturists all along this area and it’s a great place for a stroll in the sand.
