Magic beach is on the south coast and sits between
Exotic beach and
Sunny beach. As you’d expect it has the same slightly coarse sand with some scattered rocks. Getting to Magic beach is simple as it’s well signposted straight off the main road that runs the length of
Kos island, as you come down the track that leads to the beach it opens up and this is where people park their hire cars and quad bikes. Another option for visiting Magic beach is to go to one of the neighbouring beaches like
Markos beach or Sunny beach and walk along the coast.
On the beach there are a couple of rows of sunbeds with umbrellas available to rent but no water sports and no taverna directly on the beach, there is one a couple of hundred meters up the hill behind the beach where you can get some tasty local cuisine and enjoy the views of the Aegean sea.
Magic beach is a great choice for kids as the slope to the sea is gentle and although there are some rocks there are also places without making it a safe place for them to play. The only possible downside for some people is the proximity to the nudist beach but if you make sure you stay at the south western end of the beach away from Exotic beach you should be able to avoid any accidental sightings.
Magic beach is great for those that enjoy a walk in the shallows as it’s part of the massive south coast where you can walk up and down for miles.
