Paradise beach is on the south coast of
Kos sandwiched between
Camel beach and
Lagada beach. It's around 35km from the islands capital
Kos Town and that's about a 45 minute drive.
The beach is busy throughout the tourist season, probably because it has everything you might need for a day in the sun, there's gorgeous soft sand, several rows of sunbeds to hire, toilets and showers as well as multiple water sports vendors to help keep everyone entertained.
Paradise beach has wider and narrower sections but the bulk is around 25m wide from the waters edge to the rear and over 750m from end to end. There's a small snack bar at the south western end and an inflatable park at the north eastern end.
There's a taverna just behind the beach, it's a short walk and up a few steps but has lovely views over the beach and the Aegean sea, they serve hot food, snacks, drinks and ice creams and have some seating available if you want to take in the views with your meal or drink.
Paradise beach is great for kids as there aren’t too many rocks, the sea is usually very calm and the beach shelves gently into the sea so kids can easily play in the shallows without worrying about it suddenly getting really deep.
It's easy to find Paradise beach as it’s well signposted and just off the main road that runs down the middle of the island. There’s ample parking for your hire car or quad bike right behind the beach next to the taverna and all around the back of the beach.
Paradise is a perfect beach for those that like to take a stroll along the sand as it's probably a 10 minute walk from end to end and if you want to you can even continue on to the next beaches along this section of the coast and walk for miles.
