Kiotari is a relatively quiet, stretched out village towards the south of Rhodes between Gennadi and Lardos on the east coast. It's just under 60km from the islands capital which is about an hours drive.

Airport transfers would also be from an hour to 90 minutes depending which drop off you are.

There's no particular village centre to Kiotari as it's more a collection of large all-inclusive style hotels spread out along the coast with a good supply of tavernas, some shops and other amenities like cash machines and car hire outlets around the area too.

One of the main attractions to Kiotari is the vast beach, it has loads of water sports vendors, sun beds and even an aqua park where yougsters and the young at heart can jump and splash around on the floating inflatable course.

If you prefer a traditional Greek feel then you're looking at the wrong place but if you're just looking for a package holiday with a good beach, a few bars and a litle village to explore then Kiotari could be perfect.

The entertainment in the evenings in Kiotari is largely provided by the big hotels as they put on entertainment with things like live music, singers, quizes and Greek nights all being popular on various nights.

Around the town itself there are a couple of bars serving cocktails but don't expect to find too many places open late into the early hours. A quiet drink watching the world go by is probably as lively as it's goingto get in Kiotari.

If you want more night life then head to Pefkos which has a bit more going on or Lindos if you fancy going clubbing.

Kiotari is one of the more southern resorts in Rhodes so most of the action is to the north. Lindos is just 20 minutes away by car and it's highly recommended as there's loads to see and do as you explore the village and then you can head up to the acropolis of Lindos above to take in the fantastic views and historical sites on offer there.
