Agia Eleni beach is located just north of
Little Banana beach on the west coast of
Skiathos. It has lovely soft sand and clean water that’s great for swimming.
The beach has several tavernas that play music for those enjoying the beach around them. There are sun loungers with shades available as well as a host of water sports to keep you entertained. Parking is available but arrive early to guarantee a space, particularly at peak times.
Agia Eleni beach is popular with the local Greeks who tend to visit at the weekends rather than in mid week. There are also boat tours of the island that stop here so it can be busy at random times of the day.
The beach itself is close to 400m long and about 20m deep at it’s widest so there’s plenty of sea front to find a bit of space to yourself and if you want to get away from the crowds at the tavernas then there’s some open space available for that too.
To get to Agia Eleni beach, take the bus and get off at stop 25 then turn right along the tarmac road for about 10 minutes.
