Pachis is a sandy beach on the north east coast of
Thassos. It’s around a 10 to 15 minute drive from the capital
Limenas and just north of
Skala Rachoni.
Pachis beach is over 500m long. The most popular southern end is around 40m wide and this is where you’ll find the tavernas and sun loungers, the northern end gets much narrower, around 10-15m at it’s smallest and this end doesn’t have sun loungers or tavernas so is significantly quieter.
It has calm waters and a shallow entrance to the sea making it great for little ones to play. The beach is surrounded by pine trees and has a few trees on the beach as well, this gives a lovely fresh scent and some shade from the hot sun too.
There is ample parking, a volleyball net and even some basic water sports like canoes, pedalos and floating slides. The taverna plays music and serves food and drink all day so Pachis beach has everything you could want for a day in the Greek sunshine.
