Amboula beach is just outside the resort of
Tsilivi on the north east coast of
Zakynthos. It’s around 8km up from the capital
Zakynthos town which would usually take around 15 minutes to drive.
The beach is sand with pebbles around the shoreline, it’s just 10 metres wide along most of it’s length but stretches for over 300 metres meaning you’ll usually find a bit of space to yourself. There’s sun loungers available in places and pedalos too so you can relax in the sun or explore the coast at your own leisure.
There’s a number of apartments and villas available next to the beach so if you want to spend all your time in the area then this could be a great option. There’s also a couple of tavernas where you can grab a snack or refreshing drink.
Amboula beach isn’t one of the most popular beaches on the island but as it’s so small it does sometimes feel busy.
If arriving by car then you’ll find some parking available at the western end by the taverna, if that areas full then there’s some roadside parking too.
