Drosia beach is a series of rocky, pebbled bays near
Alykes Beach on the north eastern coast of
Zakynthos (Zante). It’s around 12km from the islands capital
Zakynthos Town and that would usually take around 20 minutes in the car.
For those itching to strike out off the beaten path, Drosia Beach is perfect, This undeveloped haven is ideal for swimmers and anyone else seeking a little peace and quiet.
In the area of Drosia beach you’ll find a couple of tavernas for food and drink throughout your visit. There is also a handful of sunbeds available and as it’s not a popular destination that’s normally enough.
if you’re interested in pristine sea views throughout your stay then why not book an apartment or rent one of the seaside bungalows that are available within walking distance of Drosia beach, that way you can watch the sun rise over the Ionian horizon on a daily basis.
If you’re visiting by car then you’ll have to park on the roadside that leads down by the tavernas as there’s no dedicated parking area.
