Agios Spyridon, sometimes also known as Saint Spiridon, is a beach resort based around two fantastic bays with gorgeous views over to the hills of Albania. It’s located in the north east corner of
Corfu island, approximately 40-50km from the capital and the airport depending on which route you take and that’ll take you close to an hour in a car or taxi and longer via bus transfers.
A few years ago it was a quiet, peaceful place but since the 800 bed Mareblue all inclusive hotel opened, it’s become a lot busier and more of a family resort. There still isn’t much variety of things to do but as you are likely all inclusive that shouldn’t matter too much.
There are a handful of restaurants and tavernas to try out and a few places to keep the little ones entertained including a small crazy golf course.
If you'd like to stay in the area then have a look at the Agios Spyridon page of booking.com
here. Alternatively find a great package holiday through Tui
here.
Nightlife in Saint Spyridon is minimal, there's a handful of tavernas that double as bars with cocktails in the evenings but that's about it.
You wont find clubs or other entertainment, there is a kids club at the hotel which helps to keep the little ones busy though.
Close to Agios Spyridon you’ll find
Nisos Forest as well as a pretty nature reserve so if you’re a birdwatcher, a walker or you just love a bit of nature then Agios Spyridon could be a good choice.
Both the beaches at Agios Spyridon are fairly small with sun loungers to hire, there’s boat rental available at the larger one and and food available at the rear of each, Click here to find out more about
Agios Spyridon beach.
