Ermones is a small resort in the centre of the west coast of
Corfu about 20 minutes outside
Kerkyra. There’s not a huge selection of hotels but there are a few large hotels around the beach, some that even offer apartments with private pools.
There are a handful of tavernas where you can go for a nice evening meal or a few drinks, there’s also a supermarket, a scuba diving centre, a car hire shop and a cash machine too so although it’s quiet there’s still a good range of facilities.
The beach at Ermones is sand and shingle with a number of sun loungers available at the widest point. There’s a couple of tavernas at the beach side where you can get food and drinks whilst on the beach and you can find out more about the beach on our
Ermones beach page.
If you'd like to stay in the area then have a look at the Ermones page of booking.com
here. Alternatively find a great package holiday through Tui
here.
Ermones is definitely not a place for people who want to go out drinking, it’s where those that want a slower, quieter pace to their holiday would go.
There’s no bars that stay open late or night clubs but as you can easily get to the capital for an evening out it’s no problem.
Close to Ermones are the resorts of
Glyfada and
Pelekas so visiting other places is simple as they are both around 15 minutes by car.
Mirtiotissa beach and
Pelekas beach, sometimes known as Konotgialos beach are also both within easy reach, as is the
Corfu Golf club.
