The open air cinema is located at the entrance to the village of
Kamari on the
Fira road. It's just 7km from the islands capital and that's about a 15 minute drive. It's also known as Cinekamari or simply the Santorini Cinema.
It shows movies in English with Greek subtitles, the films start at 21.30 with the doors opening 40 minutes before at 20.50, The first row of seats are deck chairs then there's a few rows of standard chairs and then bar stools at the back so that everyone gets a good view.
The entrance fee is 8€ and there's a full bar serving local wine and beer as well as great cocktails so it makes for a good night out.
Getting to Cinekamari is easy as it's walkable from
Kamari beach in about 10 minutes so if you are coming from elsewhere on the island you can park in Kamari and walk to the cinema from there.
