Vromolimnos beach is on the western side of the Kalamaki peninsular, just south of
Kolios. It’s a 10 minute walk from the nearest bus stop which is number 13 and roughly 7km from
Skiathos Town which would take around 15 minutes to drive. There is parking available but at peak times it can get very busy.
The beach is narrow at the northern end and wider at the southern end. It has fine sand and offers everything you need for a day at the beach. There’s a taverna playing music, serving food and drinks and renting out the sun loungers.
There’s a huge array of water sports including jet skis, banana boat rides, Rings, Sofa rides, Pedalos and even boat hire to explore the coastline at your own pace. See
Vromolimnos Water Sports Centre for more details on what’s available and costs.
At Vromolimnos the water shelves gently making it great for all ages to enjoy the gorgeous crystal clear waters. Ball games are a little more tricky as there isn’t a huge amount of free space.
Perhaps the only thing this beach cannot offer is peace and quiet as it is one of the most popular in
Skiathos, especially with the younger crowd due to the bars and music.
