Kerasia is a quiet cove on the east coast of northern Corfu between
Kalami and
Agios Stefanos NE. It’s around 30km, which is roughly an hours drive from the capital
Kerkyra.
Kerasia is not really a village as there’s just a beach with a single taverna and a few villas available to rent. There’s no shops, no bars and no tourist facilities like vehicle rental shops or travel agents.
Due to the fact there’s nothing here, we’d recommend Kerasia for those looking to get away from the crowds and enjoy the natural beauty of Corfu, you’ll have to either rent a villa and cook your own meals or travel out to one of the other local villages for something to eat in the evenings.
Alternatively you can visit the beach for a day and spend some time in the sun, enjoy a meal in the beach side taverna and simply soak in the gorgeous scenery, click here to find out more about
Kerasia Beach.
If you'd like to stay in the area then have a look at the Kerasia page of booking.com
here. Alternatively find a great package holiday through Tui
here.
As stated, there's no bars or other night life in Kerasia so if you want a night out you'll have to travel to one of the neighbouring villages or even further to the capital Kerkyra.
As well as Agios Stefanos NE and Kalami there are a number of other places to visit in the area, why not head north to
Avlaki or
Kassiopi and see what those great villages have to offer.
