Vrachinari beach is found on the south coast of the Paliki peninsular in
Kefalonia, it’s just south of
Vatsa beach and not far from
Lixouri.
Vrachinari beach is usually pretty deserted, there are a handful of sun loungers and a taverna at the rear of the beach, the sea stays shallow making it decent for kids but there are some rocks around the entrance to the sea and at either end of the beach so perhaps not ideal. These can be easily avoided if you pick your spot wisely though.
For those that like to keep active on their holiday there’s a beach volleyball net on the northern part of the beach, there’s no water sports though. As well as that there is a changing cubicle and showers to refresh at the end of the day.
Getting to the beach is simple as it’s serviced by a simple tarmac road and there’s a decent size parking area at the rear of the beach.
