Zephyros is a sandy beach just south of Rhodes old town on the east coast of the island. It has sun loungers, a snack kiosk and plenty of parking but no water sports. Zephyros is popular but much quieter than the other beaches around Rhodes town.
Agios Georgios is a vast, quiet, sandy beach close to the southern tip of Rhodes island. There's no facilities so bring food, drink and shade with you. It's ideal for people that like to get away from the crowds and simply enjoy the sound of the sea in peace and quiet.
Afandou is a mainly pebble beach on the east coast of Rhodes just south of Faliraki. It's part of a huge section that stretches from Traganou beach down to Kolymbia beach. There's tavernas, sun loungers, water sports and boat hire all available.
Baxedes beach is on the northern coast of Santorini close to Oia. It's a quiet and rustic beach with the usual black sand and pebbles plus some seaweed in places. It's surrounded by dramatic white cliffs and is almost deserted.
Notos is a small, picturesque beach, right next to Rosogremos beach on the south coast of Thassos. It's surrounded by rock formations and trees making it a lovely place to sit and relax, it’s mainly sand under foot with some stones around the waters edge.
Markos beach is sandy and quite large with just a couple of rows of sun loungers, a snack hut and a taverna set back from the beach. There's no water sports but kids can play in the sand or shallows so it's great for families.
Paradise is a huge sandy beach on the south coast of Kos, it's busy throughout the summer, it’s great for kids, has multiple water sports vendors and the taverna serves hot food, snacks, drinks and ice creams with great views from above the beach.
Exotic beach, also known as Polemi Beach is a nudist or textile optional beach on the south coast, It's sandy, has a small snack kiosk, sheltered loungers and is well signposted off the main road that runs down the centre of the island making it very easy to find.
Lagada is one of the south coast beaches and neighbours both Paradise beach and Markos beach. It’s often referred to as banana beach but it’s signposted as Lagada. There’s minimal facilities but you can walk to other beaches if needed.
