Achladies is a long, golden sand beach with several tavernas, there's a number of hotels nearby and sun loungers to hire, some with umbrellas and some without, there's also water sports, pedalos and boat hire available to keep everyone entertained.
Agia Eleni beach is located just north of Banana beach on the west coast of Skiathos. It has lovely soft sand and clean water that’s great for swimming. The beach has sun loungers and several tavernas that play music to entertain those around them.
Agia Paraskevi is a lovely sandy beach, that's popular but not too crowded. It has great facilities including particularly nice sun loungers. The beach is great for kids as the water shelves gently into the sea so youngsters can play safely in the shallow water.
Kanapitsa is a narrow sandy beach on the east coast of the Kalamaki peninsula. To get to Kanapitsa beach get off the bus at stop 12 and take the 15 minute walk along the coastal road, you can also use the water taxi that runs to and from Skiathos Town.
Kolios beach is located on the north west corner of the Kalamaki peninsular which is down on the south coast. It's a coarse sand beach with a single taverna that's not always open, there’s a couple of rows of sun loungers as well as plenty of space too.
The open air cinema is located on Papadiamantis street in Skiathos town, just a couple of minutes walk from the harbour. The cinema is open during the peak summer months and shows a variety of films with the ABBA movie Mamma Mia! being popular.
The crystal clear, shallow waters of Kalamaki Beach offer safe swimming for kids and excellent snorkelling for nature lovers. In addition to loads of fish, you might encounter a sea turtle, as this extension of Laganas Beach is a common nesting location.
Kaminia beach, also known as Porto Kaminia beach is on the north coast of the Vasilikos peninsula. It's a small beach at just under 200m long and 15m wide. It's well organised with sunbeds and umbrellas both on the beach and on the grass verge.
beach is sandy and absolutely huge, it's covered in rows and rows of sun loungers that are quite tightly packed in. Beach side bars play music and water sports like ringos, jetskis, banana boats and more keeps everyone entertained throughout the day.
Plaka is on the north coast of the Vasilikos peninsular. It’s a fairly small beach at just 160m wide and around 30m deep so room for 3 or 4 rows of sun loungers. There’s no taverna on Plaka beach but there’s one just set back a few metres behind the beach.
